Polk-Hordville perseveres through tragedy

The death
of Polk-Hordville basketball player Lisa Garrett has been a horrible blow
to the community. She died last week in a two-vehicle crash two miles east
and four miles south of Hordville in Hamilton County.
She was driving to board the team bus to travel to the Crossroads Conference Tournament in York. However, her death also has been an inspiration
to her grieving friends and family. The Polk-Hordville basketball team
showed plenty of heart to advance to the semifinals of the tournament.
